It started with one table that was too heavy to move
In 2024 our founders ordered a dining table for their first home. It arrived flat-packed, wobbled within a year and was in a landfill by year three. They decided to build the opposite: furniture with real joinery, honest materials and a weight that tells you it is made to stay.
Two years later LYNTHOS QUAREX LLC works with 42 independent workshops across North Carolina, Ohio and Portugal. We still design every piece in-house, still oil every oak top by hand, and still refuse to sell anything we have not lived with ourselves.
We are deliberately not the cheapest option. We would rather explain why a kiln-dried hardwood frame costs more than particle board — and why it is the last sofa you will need to buy for a decade.
Three standards we never trade away
Materials we can name
Kiln-dried hardwood, FSC-certified oak and walnut, New Zealand wool, Belgian linen and solid brass. If we cannot tell you where it came from, we do not use it.
Joinery, not glue and hope
Mortise-and-tenon frames, corner blocking and metal-to-metal hardware. Our sofas and beds carry a ten-year structural warranty because they are built to earn it.
Service that respects your home
Two-person delivery teams, floor protection, full assembly and every scrap of packaging taken away. We treat your home better than a warehouse treats a pallet.
Two years, one standard
A workshop in LOS ANGELES
Founded with two workbenches, one borrowed truck and a single dining table design that is still in our catalogue today.
The Aria sofa
Our first upholstered collection launched with nine performance fabrics and a frame guaranteed for a decade. It remains our bestseller.
Showroom & design studio
We opened our LOS ANGELES showroom so customers could sit on everything, feel every fabric and meet the people who make it.
White-glove delivery, nationwide
Our own delivery teams replaced third-party freight on all large items — assembly included, packaging removed, in 48 states.
42 artisan partners
Small workshops across California and beyond now produce the collection, all to the same drawings and standards.

Come and sit on it first
Photographs lie about scale and colour, so we keep more than 4,000 square feet of the collection on the floor — every sofa, every fabric, every finish, under natural and warm light.
Book a free 60-minute appointment with a stylist and bring your floor plan, paint swatches or simply a photo of the room. You will leave with a plan, not a sales pitch.
